Ever since finding his mother drowned in a water tank on his father’s ranch, life has been hard for young Johnny McBride. With the guidance of an old cowboy who once rode with Pancho Villa, and facing the forbidden love of the neighboring rancher's daughter, Johnny must learn to ride fast and fight often. Chasing the truth from desolate West Texas to lawless old-world Mexico, Johnny uncovers an ugly history of betrayal and greed.  When battle-scarred McBride returns home to find out once and for all who killed his mother, a reckoning awaits.  Set in 1960s Texas against the tension of the looming Vietnam war, this is not your grandpa's western.  Based on the novel by acclaimed author John P. McAfee.

Joshua has some issues.  With the help of his roommates and their ulterior motives, he finds himself driving across the country to disrupt the wedding of the one that got away.  But things take a drastic Southern turn towards Louisiana's Bayou when the three friends abandon the romantic road trip tropes and pursue a storied missing treasure left behind by the French Pirate "L'Ouragan." A new kind of Action Adventure Indie is here, and boy is it gonna be fun.
